Do not compare only the headline price
All inclusive value depends on the room category, restaurants, drinks, beach, kids policy, cancellation, airport transfer and what is excluded. A cheaper resort is not always a cheaper trip.

Who all inclusive works best for
It often works well for families, couples who want a simple beach week, first-time visitors and travellers who prefer predictable meals and drinks inside the resort.
Alojamento
What may not be included
Premium drinks, a la carte restaurants, minibar, spa, motorised activities, late checkout, airport transfer, excursions and local taxes can have separate rules or costs.
Alojamento
Area matters
Bávaro gives variety and easy pickups, Cap Cana can feel more premium, and Uvero Alto is quieter but farther. The best resort type depends on the area and the trip style.

Verification checklist
Before booking, confirm room type, meal plan details, restaurant rules, beach access, recent reviews, taxes, cancellation and transfer compatibility with your flight.

Family versus adults-only logic
Families should check kids clubs, pool layout, room configuration and restaurant access. Couples should check adults-only rules, quiet áreas, dinner options and whether entertainment matches the expected mood.

Booking evidence to save
Keep screenshots or confirmations for room category, meal plan, cancellation, transfer and included services. This helps if a detail is different at check-in.

How to shortlist resorts
Create a shortlist by traveller type: family, couple, adults-only, luxury, budget or first trip. Then compare area, beach, room, restaurants, airport transfer and cancellation terms. Do not rank resorts only from photos or headline labels.

Questions before choosing all inclusive
Ask whether a la carte restaurants are included, whether premium drinks cost extra, whether children have age rules, whether room service or minibar are included, and whether the beach and pool areas match the trip style. Small exclusions change the real value.
Alojamento
When all inclusive is not the best fit
All inclusive may not be ideal if you plan to spend most days outside the resort, want local restaurants every night or need full flexibility. In that case, compare separate hotel, activities and transport before assuming the package is better.
Alojamento
Final resort decision
Choose the resort that makes the total trip clearer: exact room, useful beach, realistic transfer, visible meal rules and cancellation terms. A slightly lower price is not worth much if the booking leaves basic conditions unclear.
